The new passport preserves the features of the current passport for the identification of its holder, but integrates a new generation of mechanisms ranging from facial recognition to the incorporation of a chip contactless , with the same information printed in the holder page:

seta pequena place of birth
seta pequena issuing and expiration date of the passport
seta pequenaphotograph
seta pequena digital signature

All the information contained in the chip can be read only by the adequate equipment.
